I have a couple fully finished quilts now and I need to label them. I have mock up, because I want to add quotes and graphics. Like the
Persuasion quilt is from the Jane Austen book and I want to include the quote. I want it to be printed, not hand written. I have seen instructions that say you can print on muslin, but do they hold up? Any advice would be welcomed.
I was checking in to see if you got any advice because I am always looking out for help here, too.
ReplyDeleteI have used my printer and printed on muslin. The black stays but the colors do wash out. I have heard of a chemical that you can put on the fabric so the colors stay in. I don't know what it is. A google search would come up with something. You can buy fabric sheets already treated at Hancocks or Joanns. I've priced them and they are way expensive.
At this point, I stopped labeling my quilts, which is not the best answer at all.
